Sweet Tooth
Welcome to Sweet Tooth, a small gallery where I document some of the things I've baked over the years. Use the colored text above to navigate through the webpage. A more complete gallery exists on my personal blog, which you can view here.
Cakes
Cakes (frosted layer cakes, in particular) are probably my favorite thing to bake! They are time-consuming and, at least for me, sometimes frustrating, but it is always such a joy to see the finished product come together.
Pies
When I eventually get around to trying to bake a pie, I will post photos and blurbs about them here!
Cookies
Cookies are among my favorite items to bake - they tend to be a quicker, simpler project than layer cakes, in particular.
Orange Shortbread Cookies
Shortbread cookies are some of my favorites! These shortbreads in particular are made with orange zest. They are relatively simple to make, which is an added plus. I love dipping them in either dark or milk chocolate, which I find (generally) makes everything better.

Donuts
The following are images of donuts I've made in the past, whether actually baked or leavened with yeast and deep fried.
Baked Chocolate Almond Donuts
A few summers ago, I tried making baked chocolate donuts with almond chocolate icing. The almond icing was actually a bit of a mistake on my part - I had run out of vanilla extract and had to substitute almond, the only other I had on hand at the time. As much as I did end up enjoying the almond notes, I must admit that when I preferred the classic chocolate donuts when I eventually remade them with the requisite vanilla extract,

Breads
I've baked a variety of different breads, including classic crusty loaves.
